Play Expo 2024

Introducing the next evolution in Sri Lankan Esports – Play Expo 2024, organized by Gamer.LK. This event reimagines the legacy of the iconic Sri Lanka Cyber Games tournament, offering an all-new platform for the country's gaming community to come together. Open to gamers from every corner of Sri Lanka, Play Expo provides an opportunity to represent their teams and gaming clans while competing across 28 popular titles for ultimate glory. Set to become the premier Esports event in Sri Lanka, Play Expo is where skills are sharpened, strategies are tested, and the spirit of competitive gaming is celebrated like never before.

Note: Registrations for all titles will be free. However, there will be a Rs. 300 entrance fee for the Expo each day.

Best Clan Award at Play Expo 2024:

• The Clan earning the most gold medals across the tournament will earn the coveted Play Expo Best Clan award for the year 2024.
• This is a virtual medal system only and no physical medals will be awarded.
• Based on registrations for the game titles, the games that will count towards the Best Clan award will be decided.
• If a title receives less than eight registrations or if fewer than eight participants actually participate in the online stage/check-in and participate on the LAN event day, that title will not be eligible for the Best Clan award.
• If a title receives exactly eight registrations or if exactly eight participants check-in and participate on the LAN event day, these participants must not all be from the same organization for the title to be eligible for the Best Clan award.
• Game titles that cannot be completed due to unforeseen issues (eg: game server unavailability, matchmaking failure, etc.) will not be considered for the Best Clan award.
• Gamer.LK reserves the right to make the decision on the final list of eligible game titles.

Note:

1. If a title receives less than eight registrations for the online stage / eight check-ins on the LAN event day, the ranked status of that title will be removed. (based on SLESA rule)

2. If a title receives less than five registrations or if fewer than five registered participants actually participate in the online stage/check-in and participate on the LAN event day, that title will not be held (it will be canceled, and the ranked status will also be removed).

3. Sri Lankans living abroad cannot take part in this tournament.
