Ops Manager at GLKtv

GLKtv is looking for someone who is passionate and knowledgeable in the gaming and digital video space to lead operations of its direct-to-web video games programming channel. Apply to be the Operations Manager at GLKtv and lead a bunch of young and energetic streaming personalities while ensuring all daily operations are carried out effectively. 

Who and what we are looking for:

- Applicants who are over 20 years of age

- Passionate about Esports and gaming

- Fluent in English/Sinhala and good communication skills

- Prior work experience would be an advantage

- Prior streaming experience would be an advantage

- Ability to manage and lead a team of young and dynamic personalities

- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment

- Basic understanding and strong interest in live streaming and broadcasting

- Eager to learn on the job

- Able to come up with new and creative ways to engage with the audience

- Technical knowledge of audio-video production or graphic designing is not mandatory but would be an advantage

- Willing to learn new production and broadcasting skills

- Strong leadership and personal skills is a must

This is a full-time role. The responsibilities this role carries:

- Oversee and manage all day-to-day activities of GLKtv daily programmes (livestreams and recorded)

- Ensure all programmes are streamed on time with acceptable audio, video standards

- Coordinate and manage the streamers and talent on GLKtv programmes

- Analyse and track performance of the programmes daily

- Handle basic technical requirements of GLKtv

- Coordinate with the internal Gamer.LK teams to create overlays, titles, content and promote GLKtv across social media

- Assisting the GLK Production team as needed with tournament and event production activities  

- Maintain regular communication with internal Gamer.LK teams to provide GLKtv operation updates and opportunities to align brands with ingame events

- Assist in establishing and managing training for streamers and talent working with Gamer.LK
